Productive Days

I love being productive!  Sitting down after a good, hard, long days work brings no greater joy to me!  I think today is going to be one of those days.  I got up at 6:30 with my Mom, and sat out on the porch with her while we let our dog out.  Then, we went and walked 4 miles..!  My Mom is doing this special diet, and you have to walk 21 miles a week, so we walked 4 today.  It was a lot of fun.  Besides it being at least 85F outside while walking, we talked a lot, and the time went by pretty fast!  Now, we are going to go and clean up after our 10 dogs, and stain the countertop inside the kennel.  After that, I think we might go to my grandparents house so that Mary and I can say goodbye before we leave on Saturday.

I hope you are having a productive day, too!

An Answered Prayer&photos

This past week, we have had VBS!  Mary volunteered, and Emma was a student.  I decided to spend some time with my Mom(:  Emma had so much fun!  She won Crazy Hair Day!  Mary helped in the 3rd grader's class.  My Mom has been praying about us not doing dance this year, and she knew how much Mary enjoyed working with little kids.  Emma and I had already decided not to do dance, but Mary was still dance, dance, dance.  Last night, Mary came up to Mom, and told her that she felt as though God was telling her not to do dance, but to volunteer with little kids!   It is so amazing how God answers prayers.  Right before Mary talked to Mom last night, Mom told me yesterday about talking to Mary about how much she loved little kids, and then Mary came up to Mom and talked to her about it without Mom saying anything!

This is going to give us so much more freedom with doing stuff because before, we tied down with dance, and now we will have more time to spend at home at our in-the-works pool, to travel, and especially when I turn 14, I will be able to get a job at Publix!!!  YAY!  haha  We have one about 15 minutes away from us, so I can cross that off my bucket list!  Plus, I need to start saving for a car.

Enjoy the pictures!

Happy Father's Day!

Daddy, you have always been there for me, taken care of me, loved me, and most importantly taught me about Jesus.  We have been through so much together, and I pray that we will have many more memories ahead.  I love you SO much!

BIG BIG SURPRISE!

Today marks 18 days away from Ballet Magnificat!'s Summer Dance Intensive for 4 weeks!!!!!!  EEEKKKK I am SO excited.  For the SDI, they have 3 sessions- 2 two week sessions, and 1 four week session.  During the Saturday that the first two weeker's switch, and the new ones come in, the four weekers go for a day out.  Usually, they just go shopping, or something like that.  Well, we got a call from a girl with Ballet Mag, and she said that the INTERNATIONAL BALLET COMPETITION WAS HAVING A GALA THAT US FOUR WEEKERS COULD GO TO!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH

Have you ever heard of or watched the IBC?

SAT's Complete!

We had lovely SAT testing today.  I woke up this morning at like 6:30, and felt like I was going to throw up!  LOL I like actually doing the SAT's(besides math), but it's just when I think about "What if I don't do well?  What if I COMPLETELY fail?????".  So, that is what was going through my mind this morning.  When I finally sat down and did the first part of the test, which was Reading somethinganother, it wasn't that bad!  I saved math for last {lucky me(:}, and...... it was okay.  There were some things on there that I had never done before, such as graphing an equation.  I'm only in 8th grade, and my sister, who is in 9th, just learned that this year.  But, I got all of it finished, and I'm praying I do well!

Did you have to do SAT testing this year?

The Gap

So remember the oral surgery that I had a while back?  First of all, it was the most painful thing I think I have ever had to endure.  For everyone that has braces- it was worse that the first few days.  My dentist gave me a pill to make me sleepy, but I was awake the whole surgery.  It was terrible!  After it was finished, he didn't give me any pain medicine right then, but put an order in at our pharmacy.  He told me I probably wouldn't need it... haha that's SO not true.  My Mom had to stop by the grocery store on the way home to get some soft food for me to eat.  By the time she got back to the car I was crying really hard from the pain.  It was killing my mouth.  We rushed to the pharmacy, got my pain medicine, and I went home to sleep.{Oh, your lucky.  I have some pictures from the surgery, but I thought you girls wouldn't really like them.  You have to have a SUPPERRRR strong stomach to look at them!  LOL}  Let's just say it hurt very bad!

The surgery was in April, and I still have the gap in my mouth because the tooth hasn't come down yet.  Hopefully, it will come down soon!!!

So, for now I am a gap girl! haha

Hope you are having an amazing weekend!

Firefighter of the Year 2012

Last night, we went to a very special meeting.  My grandfather was named "Firefighter of the Year 2012" for our county!  Out of 800 firefighters in our county, Popie was chosen!  I am so proud of him.  He has been at a volunteer fire department for 17+ years, and has done numerous things for our community.  He was able to get a 25ft long boat for the department donated to them, he found and rescued a lady who had Alzheimer's disease and had gone missing, too many other things to count, and best of all- he is MY grandpa!

Me,my sister, my aunt, my cousins, my uncle, my grandpa, my grandma, my sister, and my Mama

Your Romeo

I LOVE romantic movies.  You know.... where Juliet finds her Romeo.  I simply adore it.  I love seeing how everything comes together.  I look at how the two people love each other SO much.  It makes me want to hurry, grow up, and find my husband.  But, seeing all this I remember two things.  One- being that I don't need to grow up too fast.  When I do get older, I am going to either be glad or regret how I spent my teenage years. Secondly, it makes me want to wait for my husband even more.  I know so many people where it doesn't matter to them how much they give to someone that is not their husband.  As my sister read in a book once, you are like a perfectly wrapped package.  You have beautiful wrapping paper, and a big bow on the top.  But, you have to wait to give this perfect package to the right man when he comes along.  As you start to get older, you will be tempted in ways that are hard to withstand.  For many, this is hard to do, and as they get older, their package gets a little rip, or tear.  The more they do with this boy, the more their package comes unwrapped.  By the time they reach the alter, they have nothing left to give their husband.

I don't want to be like this.  I know that I have made mistakes in my life, but one thing I know for sure is that I DO NOT want to be at the alter and give whatever is left over to my husband.  I want to give him that perfectly wrapped package- the gift that God gave to me.

So, don't let your perfectly wrapped package become all torn up.  Wait, and give it to the most special person that God can give to you on this earth- your Romeo.

Grace

Sunday's

I truly love Sunday's.  They are always so nice and laid back.  Today, I got to sleep in late, and we went on the boat to a local restaurant.  While we were on the boat, I got to drive!  Our boat, "Steve", has a tower on it.  I got up there with my Daddy, and I drove for a while.  It was suuuppppeeeerrrr busy, and I had to drive in a channel......  It was scary at first!  I got used to it after awhile, but it was still nerve-racking.  So, overall, it was an amazing Sunday!

Here is a few things that I thought would make you laugh!

Thought you would like that!

Have a lovely week!
