Dance

Dance has been going very well lately. We changed studios this year, and it is really good. I have learned so much more than I did at our old dance studio. It was a hard adjustment, because at my old dance studio, they had the structure of technique, but didn't push you hard enough. Here at my new studio, they push you to work your hardest, and at the end othe the day that is what I need.
We saw Ballet Magnificat perform "The Hiding Place" last night. It was amazing. I got to see some of my teachers from the Summer Dance Intensive, and they were very nice. I really felt God last night saying "This is what I want you to do. To glorify Me through dance." I really want to push foward and maybe eventually become a trainee there and dance for Him. I don't know for sure. But I do know God will help and guide me through it.

A short story!

Here is a short story I wrote:

Once upon a time there was a girl that lived on a farm in the country. She loved to dance, even though they didn't have the money to dance. She was an amazing dancer. Her name was Jennifer. On her farm she had daily chores, which included milking the cow, getting chicken eggs, cleaning the horses stalls and a lot more. Most of all she loved the Lord. One day as Jennifer was going to town, she saw a sign that said Ballet Tryouts inside. She decided to go in, even though she didn't even have a leotard or ballet shoes. Once she went inside, everyone stared at her like she was crazy. They then started the tryouts. The teacher said they had to do different things, like jete, passe and tondeu. Jennifer was better than all the other girls and did amazing. The girls were dumbfounded. After class, the teacher came up and said "What is your name?" "Jennifer". "Well, Jennifer", the teacher said, "Welcome to Royal Academy of the Arts" Jennifer couldn't believe that she had done well, but sadly, she told the teacher she couldn't afford lessons. "You don't have to. I want you take lessons for free" Jennifer thankfully accepted. Now, she is a professional dancer for the Royal Academy of the Arts, all because God had a plan for her.

Hi!

Hey Everyone!

Wow. A lot of things have been going on this summer and school year. Let's start with July. July Mary and I went to Ballet Magnificat's! Summer Dance Intensive!!!!! It was amazing! We stayed in Jackson, MS in Belhaven College dorms. I learned so much about the Lord and dancing. August was my birthday!! It was amazing! I had a friend over and she spent the night and the next day we went to a local water park! We also started school! It is going pretty well! We are doing Alpha Omega's SOS (Switched on Schoolhouse). I love it! September is going great! Our youth group had a cool back to school swim party, and we also had a Girl's Night! Today we have a Cotillion class. I am really excited!

At our youth group everyone is chosen to share a devotion every week, and this coming week is mine!! I'm so nervous! I am doing it 3 of my favorite verses- Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalms 9:9 and Psalms 27:1. Pray for me! I will post how it goes!

I have to go!

Running........

Well, I've started running again! Mom and I have worked up to 3 miles every other day, then on the other days, we are going to go bike riding! I'm trying to make it through this! LOL! Now, running is NOT one of my favorite things to do, but I want to push myself. Last year, I ran the Fun Run in the Spring Fever Chase. Mom ran the 10k. I would love to work up to 10k races, but it won't be happening anytime soon!!!

See ya later!!

Skating Party!

I had an AWESOME time at a Valentine's skating party this afternoon! We were supposed to have it last Friday, but due to weather, we had to cancel the party till today. IT was so much fun. We skated for about 30 minutes, and then everyone exchanged Valentines and we had a Valentine's box contest. For fifth grade and under, Emma won! I was so proud of her! For 6th grade and up, I won! I was very happy. Emma made a purse made out of card board and covered in fabric. Mine was a big cake made out of card board and covered in fabric. Mary had a GREAT one. She did a mail box and on the side for the address number, Mary put 831 for 8 letters 3 words 1 meaning- I love you. Here is one of my favorite verses:

For God so loVed the world that
He gAve his
OnLy begotten son that
whoE
ver believes
iN him shall
noT
perIsh but have
eterNal
lifE.

John 3:16

Hey guys!

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Lately it's been dance, violin, grammar class and science class. Violin recital is coming up soon. Mrs.Lizanne ( our violin teacher) is excited. Mrs.Lizanne is 75 years old and plays the violin, piano and Oregon in church. She is a little spark-plug! Dance recital is also coming soon. We haven't found out what we are yet, but I find out Tuesday. I do know that our costumes are white. Grammar class is going well. Mrs.Kristi is one of the best teachers! I'm so glad we have her. Science is oodles of fun! Mrs.Jenni is our teacher. We have made a bunch of life-long friends. We are in our new house! My room is pink and brown!!!! Right now we have, get ready, 6 dogs and 4 cats! 5 of the dogs are for hunting. 1 is just a family dog. Their names are Ripley-3 year old Springer Spaniel, Champ- Almost 5 year old English Setter, Flirt-12 year old Lab, Gabby- 5 year old English pointer, Thicket,- 1 year old Springer Spaniel, and last but totally not least, Bob. He's an English Pointer. Then we have the cats. Lizzybeth is a 3 year old calico ball of meanness! Elise is the sweetest 1 year old tabby that you will ever meet! Then about 5 months ago, we had a Momma cat and 3 kittens show u at our drive way. We couldn't resist! So we found a home for the Momma cat and 1 of the kittens but we still have two. We are keeping them. Their names are Aubbie and Princessa Maria ( Emma named her!). Well, I'm glad I got to catch up! <3

Bye!
